Defend the Hill features two minicomics originally included in the print edition of Messenger: Chapter One, from way back in 2009! These comics have never been released outside of print, but are now available as a handy digital bundle!
"Growth: Life in Kenakobe Hill" is a short story about Akiara's childhood in Kenakobe Hill, and details some of the inner workings of the tribe.
"Sleepwalking" is a late-night discussion between Aki and Luke.
